Beyond Precarity: Fashioning Prosperous, Humane and Sustainable Societies in the age of Financialization and Global Warming
November 30-December 1
Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Pôle Universitaire Cathédrale) & Zoom
At the end of this month (November 30 and December 1), an international group of heterodox economists—most of whom are AFEE members (and all of whom have contributed to the JEI)—will convene a hybrid workshop from the University of Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens, France. The workshop, which explores various aspects of economic, societal, and ecological precarity (and what can be done about them), is a follow-up project involving many of the participants who contributed to A Modern Guide to Post-Keynesian Institutional Economics, a book edited for Edward Elgar Publishing (2022) by Charles Whalen, a longtime AFEE member.
