  • Call for papers: the WINIR Workshop on Repugnant Behaviors will be taking place Feb 24-25, 2021 at the University of Montpellier in Montpellier, France. The conference is seeking submissions of papers discussing how and why moral concerns, taboos, and sacred values place, or ought to place, limits on market transactions. Abstracts must be submitted by June 15, 2020. More information can be found here.

  • Job opening: Bucknell University is hiring a visiting assistant professor in heterodox economics, who will be prepared to teach a pluralist Principles of Economics course, Intermediate Political Economy, and an elective in Marxist/Veblenian political economy. The application can be found here.

  • AFEE member Randall Wray has just published his new policy textbook: A Great Leap Forward: Heterodox Economic Policy for the Twenty-First Century! The book investigates economic policy from a heterodox and progressive perspective to present an integrated survey of progressive policy on topics of interest today. It is suitable for an undergraduate course on macroeconomic policy.
